Friendly and professional service from Alan the electrical engineer. Replaced under cabinet lights in kitchen and replaced outdated PIR outside light. Clean, tidy workmanship and respectful of my property. Also spotted an issue with current fuse box which is now outdated and sent a comprehensive quote for replacement at later date. I was very happy with the care and quality of work today. Plus I was impressed with the customer service from Jordan with great communications from start to finish. Thank you!

I was quoted over £200 for a small job that ultimately cost me £80 using another electrician, but that's not what my 1 star review is for - if MJP Electrical Services want to extort customers that's up to them and I'm sure their customer base will respond accordingly. The 1 star is because I've subsequently received a reminder by both email and SMS every single day for last week badgering me to accept their quote!!

Great service from MJP in the Withywood area. They provided all the information via email and worked with me to determine the best options for what I needed. I had a new fuse board installed, 2 new sockets and all other sockets brought up to safety standard for a reasonable price. They also performed an EICR inspection and booked me in within a few days. Our electrician Daniel was very friendly and completed everything in one day and cleaned up afterward. Fantastic job all round. I would use their service again and recommend them. Edit: I returned to MJP after one of my light bulbs ripped off leaving exposed wires. They came out on the same day as an emergency to fix it. Once again, great work I would recommend

Expert Electrical Services for Schools & Educational Facilities

At MJP Electrical, we understand the critical role safe, reliable, and energy-efficient electrical systems play in schools and educational facilities across the UK. From primary schools to universities, a well-maintained electrical infrastructure is essential for learning, administration, and the safety of students and staff. We provide a comprehensive range of electrical services tailored specifically for the education sector, ensuring your facility meets all current regulations and operates at its best.

We know that budgets and minimising disruption are key concerns for schools. Our team works flexibly to schedule services at times that suit you, whether it’s during school holidays, weekends, or outside of school hours, to avoid impacting the learning environment.

Old fuses and tripped switches shouldn’t be a baseline for daily life in Odd Down, especially when keeping up with modern demands feels like a constant juggling act. As properties here age, the original wiring often struggles to cope with the sheer amount of tech running through the walls. At the heart of it, there’s a need for infrastructure that actually keeps up with your routine rather than failing the moment you plug in a new appliance or try to charge a vehicle. MJP Electrical focuses on getting these systems steady again, ensuring your home remains functional without the constant worry of a sudden blackout.

This area tends to be shaped by a mix of period character and modern lifestyle, which creates a unique set of electrical hurdles for families. From the flickering lights in a home study to the necessity of getting every outlet up to current safety standards, getting the basics right is what matters most. Our NICEIC Electricians handle everything from heavy-duty rewires to consumer unit upgrades, making sure the electricity flowing through your home is reliable and safe. We don’t just fix the visible symptom; we look at the way the power is actually moving through your space.

Schools & education provide a massive framework for how we think about safety and long-term maintenance, and we apply that same rigorous standard to local residential projects. Taking a more structured approach can help avoid the “patch-job” cycle where you spend money fixing the same fault every few months. Whether it’s installing an EV charging point or a full system overhaul, the goal is a permanent, certified result that adds actual value to your home. Then again, some problems need an immediate answer, which is why we remain ready for those urgent callouts when the unexpected happens.

At the end of the day, you need to trust that the person touching your internal wiring actually understands the balance between preserving your property’s integrity and making it work for 2024. We provide clear pricing and tidy workmanship because a messy job is just as much of a problem as a faulty wire. By focusing on clear outcomes—like a smooth-running solar setup or a fully compliant inspection—we help ensure your home stays powered correctly for the long haul.
