Friendly and professional service from Alan the electrical engineer. Replaced under cabinet lights in kitchen and replaced outdated PIR outside light. Clean, tidy workmanship and respectful of my property. Also spotted an issue with current fuse box which is now outdated and sent a comprehensive quote for replacement at later date. I was very happy with the care and quality of work today. Plus I was impressed with the customer service from Jordan with great communications from start to finish. Thank you!Posted on Google![]()

I was quoted over £200 for a small job that ultimately cost me £80 using another electrician, but that's not what my 1 star review is for - if MJP Electrical Services want to extort customers that's up to them and I'm sure their customer base will respond accordingly. The 1 star is because I've subsequently received a reminder by both email and SMS every single day for last week badgering me to accept their quote!!Posted on Google![]()

Great service from MJP in the Withywood area. They provided all the information via email and worked with me to determine the best options for what I needed. I had a new fuse board installed, 2 new sockets and all other sockets brought up to safety standard for a reasonable price. They also performed an EICR inspection and booked me in within a few days. Our electrician Daniel was very friendly and completed everything in one day and cleaned up afterward. Fantastic job all round. I would use their service again and recommend them. Edit: I returned to MJP after one of my light bulbs ripped off leaving exposed wires. They came out on the same day as an emergency to fix it. Once again, great work I would recommendPosted on Google![]()

Expert Electrical Services for Schools & Educational Facilities in Brimscombe and Thrupp
At MJP Electrical, we understand the critical role safe, reliable, and energy-efficient electrical systems play in schools and educational facilities in Brimscombe and Thrupp. From primary schools to universities, a well-maintained electrical infrastructure is essential for learning, administration, and the safety of students and staff. We provide a comprehensive range of electrical services tailored specifically for the education sector, ensuring your facility meets all current regulations and operates at its best.
We know that budgets and minimising disruption are key concerns for schools in Brimscombe and Thrupp. Our team works flexibly to schedule services at times that suit you, whether it’s during school holidays, weekends, or outside of school hours, to avoid impacting the learning environment.
When you step back a bit, the safety of a learning environment relies heavily on the systems that are often invisible to the students. In Brimscombe and Thrupp, educational buildings face unique demands, from high-traffic corridors requiring robust lighting to computer suites that put constant pressure on older circuitry. It isn’t just about keeping the lights on; it is about ensuring the infrastructure is resilient enough to handle the daily motion of a busy campus without flickering or failing.
If you had to boil it down, the goal is reliability. Old wiring in a school setting is a liability that can disrupt a full day of lessons or, worse, compromise student safety. As NICEIC Electricians, we look at the bigger picture of your building’s health. Whether it is a full rewire or a strategic consumer unit upgrade to handle new technologies, our focus is on creating a stable, compliant electrical foundation that lasts.

Where things stand now suggests that many local facilities are ready for a transition toward more efficient energy solutions. We help schools and education providers integrate modern needs, like EV charging for staff or upgraded heating controls, without overcomplicating the project. By providing clear pricing and tidy workmanship, we make sure the transition happens smoothly, allowing the focus to remain on teaching rather than maintenance headaches.
It’s really about finding the right balance between strict safety compliance and functional longevity. We handle the heavy lifting of EICRs and certifications so that administrators can breathe easy knowing every socket, switch, and circuit is up to code. Our team works efficiently to minimize downtime, delivering certified results that keep Brimscombe and Thrupp’s educational spaces running perfectly for years to come.
