Friendly and professional service from Alan the electrical engineer. Replaced under cabinet lights in kitchen and replaced outdated PIR outside light. Clean, tidy workmanship and respectful of my property. Also spotted an issue with current fuse box which is now outdated and sent a comprehensive quote for replacement at later date. I was very happy with the care and quality of work today. Plus I was impressed with the customer service from Jordan with great communications from start to finish. Thank you!

I was quoted over £200 for a small job that ultimately cost me £80 using another electrician, but that's not what my 1 star review is for - if MJP Electrical Services want to extort customers that's up to them and I'm sure their customer base will respond accordingly. The 1 star is because I've subsequently received a reminder by both email and SMS every single day for last week badgering me to accept their quote!!

Great service from MJP in the Withywood area. They provided all the information via email and worked with me to determine the best options for what I needed. I had a new fuse board installed, 2 new sockets and all other sockets brought up to safety standard for a reasonable price. They also performed an EICR inspection and booked me in within a few days. Our electrician Daniel was very friendly and completed everything in one day and cleaned up afterward. Fantastic job all round. I would use their service again and recommend them. Edit: I returned to MJP after one of my light bulbs ripped off leaving exposed wires. They came out on the same day as an emergency to fix it. Once again, great work I would recommend

Expert Electrical Services for Schools & Educational Facilities in Gloucestershire

At MJP Electrical, we understand the critical role safe, reliable, and energy-efficient electrical systems play in schools and educational facilities in Gloucestershire. From primary schools to universities, a well-maintained electrical infrastructure is essential for learning, administration, and the safety of students and staff. We provide a comprehensive range of electrical services tailored specifically for the education sector, ensuring your facility meets all current regulations and operates at its best.

We know that budgets and minimising disruption are key concerns for schools in Gloucestershire. Our team works flexibly to schedule services at times that suit you, whether it’s during school holidays, weekends, or outside of school hours, to avoid impacting the learning environment.

There’s often a thread running through it, the way a building’s electrical infrastructure has to work twice as hard when it’s housing hundreds of students. In Gloucestershire, school buildings vary from historic stone structures to modern campuses, yet the requirement for safety remains the same across the board. It isn’t just about keeping the lights on during a lesson. It involves ensuring that the underlying wiring can handle the current demands of high-tech classrooms, laboratory equipment, and staff offices without flickering or failing under pressure.

If you focus on this, you can avoid the headaches of reactive maintenance that disrupts the learning environment. As NICEIC Electricians, our approach to schools and education is grounded in proactive reliability. We look at the big picture of the site, identifying where consumer unit upgrades are necessary to support increasing power demands or where an EICR is overdue to ensure full regulatory compliance. It is about creating a space where teachers can focus on their students rather than worrying about whether a socket is safe to use.

What’s usually needed here is a seamless integration of service that doesn’t happen during peak school hours. We understand the logistical dance of getting work done while respecting the daily routine of a busy educational facility. Whether you need a complete rewire to modernize an aging wing or the installation of EV charging points for the fleet, the goal is a tidy, certified result. We provide clear pricing and professional workmanship so that every penny spent on the building’s infrastructure contributes to a safer, more functional space for the next generation.

If you had to boil it down, it comes to long-term value over quick fixes. Choosing a team that understands the specific nuances of commercial educational spaces ensures that the property remains compliant and efficient for years to come. We handle the technical complexities of heavy-duty power distribution and modern lighting systems, delivering the dependable electrical backbone that Gloucestershire schools rely on every day.
